About Our Products.Our craft & activity kits take many forms but they all have certain things in common- they're all well priced, high quality products sourced from small businesses who take pride in their designs. They're all straightforward and easy to accomplish (some more than others though!) and all kits contain everything necessary to complete the item- no need to purchase seperate glue, tools or anything else. We've kits for all age groups, from knitting kits, sewing kits and papier mache suitable for young crafters to advanced pyrography, candle making kits and seagrass stool kits for older teens and adults. For those more interested in action, amongst our activity kits you'll find such delights as a pond dipping kit, a pinhole camera kit, and a birdwatching kit complete with binoculars!
Perfect as unusual presents, for a rainy day, or just for fun, you'll find our range of craft kits covers all areas. Many of our craft kits can be made over time- it's possible to start one day and progress when time allows. However you may find that once you've started, you don't want to stop- they're designed to be fun! We offer friendly service, secure payment and speedy delivery. |
About UsMakeitnow is a trading name of Fairyglass, a small glass studio and gift distributor based near Bath, in the UK. We're a small, family run business who aim to provide quality products with an emphasis on friendly service, speedy delivery and affordable prices. We've been trading since 2004 and our business has grown out of our enthusiasm for the products we're involved in. We try to treat our suppliers and customers with equal respect and value all feedback, whether positive or not. We don't want to rule the world and we don't put profit before principle.
Makeitnow is the latest site in a group which have been inspired by products we've come across on our travels and really liked. Like any parents, we take pleasure in seeing our children enjoying creating things, and sometimes we like joining in creating with them! The kits we're offering on this site are ones we've selected as we feel they provide value for money and an end product which is desirable, enjoyable and, most importantly, fun to make!. The kits are mostly produced by small, specialist craft companies who are driven by the similar values to ours, with a passion for what they do and pride in their products.

Shipping InformationUK Mainland Orders:
We aim to ship all orders placed before 2.30pm on the same day. We use a variety of shipping methods depending on the weight or value of the order, and the urgency. We may upgrade your order to an insured service if the weight or value justifies this- we will pay for any upgrade we make.
Orders from Outside the UK:
Because of the variety of products we offer, and the different costs of transport to overseas destinations, it is impossible to give an accurate cost in checkout. Wherever possible we will honour the price charged, but if we are unable to do so we will contact you to discuss whether to ship using another method or refund. |
