This large felt kit creates a felt carry bag measuring around 33cm wide by 32cm high, in a wonderful array of colours. The felt is produced from the wool supplied using a wet felting method, and clear instructions are provided alongside a plastic (reusable) template and of course all the wool you need for the bag, rose and leaves! While this is a more advanced felting kit, it's still achievable by someone with little experience, but lots of enthusiasm! Please note however that in order to complete this kit you'll need the basic felt making kit at the top of this page, as it contains the mat and net necessary for making quality felt.

The kit comes supplied in a wonderfully decorated bag, and makes a fantastic present. Gilliangladrag is a UK produced and assembled brand.

This new Mosaic kit uses traditional materials to produce a colourful and useful tray decorated with glass mosaic tiles. The wooden tray is supplied in the kit and measures 250x230mm. In the box there's a selection of coloured glass mosaic tiles and a pattern, as well as adhesive and tile grout to finish off the kit. The resulting tray is lovely- durable and useful. The tiles are 5mm across and do not require any cutting, so no extra tools or eye protection is needed. This also means that the kit is suitable for young adults, although the carton is marked as unsuitable for under 14s.

This UK produced kit is designed with children in mind. There's no cutting or other dangerous techniques and the kit is suitable for ages 7 and above. The Knight is made from irridised clay mosaic tiles and has a paper shield and wooden sword. There's a magnet on the back so it can be used as a fridge decoration, or you can simply stand him up! When finished he stands just over 6cm tall. The kit can be completed in around 2 hours.

Mosaic Mad Romans are a UK based business specialising in making mosaics fun! With their fresh, unusual approach and kits aimed squarely towards children, they're proving very popular. The kits utilise components not often found in mosaics, such as Amethyst chips, feathers, glitter and ribbons. Every kit comes complete with full instructions and everything you need to produce the kit, including adhesive.

Mosaic Mad Romans have been running school workshops for several years and are experienced mosaic artists, having worked on prestige projects including the Orient Express.

The kits are mostly suitable for ages 7+ and present a fun way of learning mosaic art while referencing traditional Roman mosaic principles. All tools and materials are included and there's no cutting or breaking of tiles so less to worry about! All kits are CE approved. The kits are termed "Mini Mosaic Kits" because they're small projects, perfect for a wet afternoon or a school lesson. They're mostly supplied in little resealable bags so that if they're not finished in one session you can keep the bits together.
